Lyndall Calcraft currently lives in Fairlight, a beach & harbour side suburb near Manly, NSW. Her childhood was spent in rural NSW, before moving to Sydney to school and life thereafter, with her own family of two children and husband Scott.
Lyndall studied at the Design Centre, Enmore (Sydney Institute, Tafe NSW), where she completed a two-year course in “Jewellery and Object Design”, graduating with a Diploma in 2007. The course placed a strong emphasis on individuality, creative & innovative expression, encouraging the use of broad range of techniques and materials.
Lyndall has always had a passion and appreciation for jewelry, fine arts, antiques and curios and would say that her works are strongly influenced by nature, surrealism, the unconventional & eccentricities of the world
She has exhibited pieces in the Jewellery and Object Design student exhibitions, at 2 Danks Street, Waterloo; “Carrot – Vitamin A” in 2006 & “Suite” 2007.
When not making jewelry, Lyndall works for Meals on Wheels and volunteers at the Manly Art Gallery & Museum.
